PROTECTIONIST's first yearlings to be seen here

Stories like the one of PROTECTIONIST touch the heart of every thoroughbred and horse racing fan and illustrate time and again why we do what we do! Bred by Dr. Christoph Berglar out of the Peintre Celebre-mare PATINEUSE, PROTECTIONIST advanced to become the first Melbourne Cup winner in the history of German thoroughbred breeding in 2014. The strong-willed colt celebrated an impressive comeback in Germany in 2016 when he took the G1 Longines Großer Preis von Berlin in tremendous style, which not only made him a G1 hero in both hemispheres but elevated him to the status of an unquestionable fan favorite due to his ability to bounce back and upright himself to his fullest potential.
Ronald Rauscher Bloodstock played a decisive role in the colt's transfer to Australia and his return to Germany alike, and since PROTECTIONIST has entered stud duty with an RPR of 122 as one of the best sons of the extraordinary sire Monsun, we have continued to play a role in his management. In only a few weeks, the first crop of yearlings by the Roettgen-based stallion will appear in auction sales rings. In the following video, we proudly present a selection of his highly interesting progeny.
