RR Bloodstock at the 2024 BBAG Premier Yearling Sale

In three weeks time, the Baden-Badener Auktionsgesellschaft e.V. in Iffezheim will open its doors for this year's Premier Yearling Sale and, as in previous years, Ronald Rauscher Bloodstock will be represented with excellent consignments.

Last year, we were able to consign the top offer with a Frankel colt from the dam line of the French champion mare OCCUPANDISTE. His sister, sold at the same place a year earlier, is a recent winner in Ireland.

The 13-strong lot contains some very interesting products, such as a brother to NARNIA DAWN (Lot 82), successful at Listed level in France, out of the highly successful family of NORTH QUEEN, or Beautiful World (Lot 108) out of a sister to the Gr.1 winners BAILA ME and BE FABULOUS, whose family also includes the 1,000 Guineas winner BLUMME. Lot 158, a filly out of the Gr.2 winner SKY FULL OF STARS from the highly successful dam line of SAITE, which also produced the champion mares SALDENTIGERIN and SWORN PRO, and Lot 153, a colt from the family of STRAWBERRY FIELDS and SUPERSTITION, also come from excellent families. The dam produced 6 winners in 6 products - her first product won 15 times and was placed 35 times.

The Sea The Stars filly with Lot 182 out of a Black Type sister to GROCER JACK and Lot 117, a filly from the family of the multiple champion mare DJUMAMA, as well as Lot 21, a filly from the family of the champion horses KAISERBLUME, KING'S BOY and KLASSIKER, are also highly interesting. Lot 125 is a colt from the family of the top mare GALTEE, Lot 208 is a filly from the family of Oaks winner ARKONA and a daughter (Lot 71) of the top mare FOLIE DE LOUISE (92kg), whose family includes the Breeders' Cup winner MOON SOLITAIRE.

WALERICO (Lot 95), sired by three-time German champion Sire Soldier Hollow, is a brother to the impressive fresh winner WORLD VISION from the top international family of WILD ROMANCE, which features numerous champion horses, including this year's Derby winner PALLADIUM. A colt from the same family, Lot 53, is the first product out of a Listed-placed granddaughter of WILD SIDE. The pedigree of the filly with the illustrious name Santa Catarina (Lot 44), the first foal of the Gr.3 winner SCONSET from the family of SALUTINO and the Prix de Diane winner CAERLINA, is also excellent.
